Programme committee of VUmc School of Medical Sciences
Every university degree programme has a programme committee. The programme committee advises the Board of the university on the Academic and Examination Regulations for the coming academic year and evaluates these every year. The programme committee refers to the module and internship evaluations and requests information from the responsible instructors to this end. The programme committee assesses the cohesion between the programme modules and internships and the academic skill components, the supervision of students and the manner in which the curriculum information is disseminated by the programme. The programme committee is also responsible for the evaluation of the entire curriculum to ensure that the final achievement targets of the programme are observed and retained.
The programme committee can provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on all educational matters to the Board of the university or a representative thereof. This in any case includes advice on quality improvement of the programme.
Every programme has its own educational committee:
Bachelor and master in Medicine (in Dutch)
Master programme Cardiovascular Research
